Save Space Under Your Sink

Do you have an under-sink cabinet stuffed full of plastic grocery bags? If you keep them to recycle or to line your garbage bins, you probably have hundreds of them hanging around. They seem to breed when you keep them around in an enclosed space long enough. Here’s a simple but intelligent way to cut down on the space required to store plastic grocery bags. The bonus is that they seem less interested in breeding when they’re all folded up.

Why would anybody waste that much time? Why not just get like an empty tissue box and shove bags in there as you get them? This flag-folding method sucks.

I agree that folding takes too much time. Tying them in a loose knot works pretty well.

What the hell? Who would be anal-retentive enough to spend so much time? Just throw the bloody things away. Consider the lost opportunity cost. This could add up to days over a life.

Agreed Drew, I love this site, but that’s just stupid.

You’re right; it does take a lot more time. Personally, I have a lot of time on my hands and hundreds of plastic bags waiting to be cut up and crocheted into tote bags. So it works for me. Your results may vary. :)

You have to revise your opinion. Repeating this nuttery misses your point. Give us proofs. Not just with words, but with deeds.
