Ever since the release of Windows Vista, users have had plenty of complaints about the operating system. Although many of us have made the big changeover, there are still plenty of XP loyalists who refuse to install the new OS. If you are sticking with XP but want to use Vista’s best features (without the oft-lamented problems), Adam Pash brings you an excellent article about simulating Vista’s good points in XP. You can get the best of both worlds without having to actually make any big changes.
If you’ve already made the switch but are still uncomfortable with the new look and feel of Vista, CNET gives us a short video on making Vista look a little more like the comfortable old XP we all knew and loved.
And if you’re as unhappy as the people at Infoworld about Microsoft’s decision to stop selling new licenses for Windows XP after June 30th of this year, head over there to voice your opinion. They have a petition for you to sign that they hope will get Microsoft to reconsider their discontinuation of XP.
